Lunch at Peels

It's good to know the chef!  Lunch at Peels with Sweety and chef Jason.  Fried oyster on sweet corn chowder and braised pork cheeks with allagash beer jus and fried onions.  Amazing!  

Fall leaves on Brother Dave

I worked on this half sleeve on my Brother, Dave again this week.  I'm having such a blast working on him and just getting to hand out with him.  Can't wait to finish it.

Hitmen and Harlots

In honor of the Eight of Swords one year anniversary we hosted the Hitmen And Harlots art show and epic party at the shop.

I made 300 mini titty cupcakes with the frosting assistance of Karen and Sophie.

We had performances by Burlesque dancers, fire eaters, sword 

swallowers . . .

and the hoola hooping harlot assisted by the ever lovely Sophie C'est La Vie.

Atlantic City

To celebrate Sweety's Birthday we went to Atlantic City for a couple of days.  Neither of us had ever been there.  We had birthday dinner at the Bobby Flay steak house at the Borgata.  It cost more than our mortgage but the food was delicious.

We walked on the boardwalk and drank frozen drinks at the beach bar.

I love a pina colada!

And as the true nerds that we are - when we gamble we do it Lord of the Rings style.

Sweety's Birthday

Sweety's Birthday was last week and naturally I showered him with gifts - with the help of his parents and mine and his sister and brother in-law.  He posted this on instagram - it made me so happy!

I did this Puffin Tattoo on James, a children's book illustrator.  This is his "character" that he puts in every illustration he does.  I tattooed him on his 30th birthday - his first tattoo.
