Seahorse

This was the week of animals for me.  I did this little seahorse on my friend Preston.

Rooster

I am really excited about this Rooster I did today.  It was also the cause of a lot of super fun cock jokes. 

Wildebeest

A Wildebeest I did today.  I so loved getting to write "Wildebeest" in my schedule.  The tattoo was fun to do also.

Back piece

I finally started the top 2/3's of my back.  Sweety made me a beautiful drawing that I am so excited about. 

He tattooed me for just over 3 hours.  We almost finished the outline but even with a few pours of Macallan 12, I didn't quite make it.

I love it so far!  I can't wait to see it finished!

The Queen Anne's Revenge goes on

I worked on Jeff's pirate ship again.  It has now officially become a half sleeve.  Hopefully just one more sitting to go.

Peony 3 way

I drew these 3 peonys for 3 lovely ladies who have been friends a long time.  I'm excited to tattoo them.

39th

I turned 39 on January 1st.  To commemorate this event I went a little crazy and made 39 Desserts.  Here are some of the highlights:

 I realized when I started to set everything out on the table, that my friends were all going to suddenly realize how insane I was.

Overall it was really fun.

Rocket ship

I do this every week so that Sweety and I can take salads to work.  I love how it looks when it's all ready to go.

Viper Party

 So at The End is Near we are 3 women tattooers.  It's the first time I've worked with just women and I love it.  Our boss once jokingly referred to us as a pack of vipers, and it stuck.  Now that's what we call ourselves.    Last Saturday we all had cancellations and so we decided to make the day a viper party and tattoo each other. 

Mia did this lovely tattoo on the side of my knee.  It didn't feel good but I love it.

It was a such a great day at work, I wish everyday could be a viper party!

Morning Glory

I did this morning glory a few days ago and was really excited about the way it turned out.

Friday the 13th

Yesterday was Friday the 13th.  I worked for 20 hours straight and did 40 tattoos.  My shop as a whole did 338 tattoos.  It was a crazy day that was for the most part super fun.

This was tattoo #31 for me.  My most memorable client of the day for sure!

More Wisteria

 

I added on another section to this Wisteria piece.  It seams strangely appropriate that it is slowly taking over her body.

Birthday Dinner

So much to my horror I celebrated another birthday.  My parents took us out to Blue Ribbon to celebrate and I had this delicious little fellow!

Not a bad way to turn 39.
